Important Dental Care Information

CO-PAYS ARE REQUIRED AT EVERY APPOINTMENT AND MAY BE PAID IN CASH OR CREDIT CARD. CHILDREN UP TO AGE 18 WILL NOT BE CHARGED A CO-PAY.

You will be required to make a co-payment based on a sliding scale according to your income.  The maximum co-payment for a regular dental care appointment will be $35.00.

Bring proof of your family income and residence if you have not been seen at the clinic in the past 3 months.

Arrive 15 minutes early to each appointment to fill out necessary paperwork.

If you miss an appointment, you will not be able to make an appointment for 6 months; however, you will still have the opportunity to utilize the emergency walk-in times.

Care may be provided by Marquette University School of Dentistry dental students or a Fox Valley Technical College dental hygiene student under the supervision of one of our local volunteer dentists.

Services

TCD relies on volunteer Dentists for scheduling.  Because of it, we work hard to provide as many options as we can; however, we base the schedule around the scheduled days of each dentist.
Dental Hygiene- TCD has Dental Hygienists on staff that provide cleanings for children 3  through age 18.
General Dentistry- TCD has approximately 85 dentists in the area that volunteer their time. Tooth concern appointments, fillings, etc are all done by a general dentist.
Oral Surgeons- There are times that the care needed is more complicated.  Thankfully, TCD has a handful of Oral Surgeons that rotate through the clinic to assist and provide the additional care needed.
Endodontists- TCD performs root canals on a limited basis and the tooth needs to qualify for this service.

We see children ages 3-18, and Veterans for full comprehensive dental care.  Adults 19 years and older can utilize our walk-in clinic if they are having a dental emergency.
