Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic accepting new patients?

Anyone who is eligible is able to register at the clinic.  Currently, we are seeing new adult patients on an emergency dental care basis only.  Children between the ages of 3 - 18 may receive a complete exam and cleanings.

When can I get an appointment to have my teeth checked, get a filling, or get my teeth cleaned?

If you have severe tooth pain or swelling, you may come in for an emergency walk-in.  Other appointments must have a comprehensive exam before any cleaning or tooth fillings can be done.

If time is available, children between the ages of 3  - 18 may receive a complete exam and cleanings.

Will emergency/urgent dental care appointments be available every day?

There may be times when we cannot see emergency patients or schedule all of your appointments ahead.  Our volunteer dentists may not be available or our schedule may not allow us to accept additional appointments or emergencies.

For emergencies/urgent dental care, we ask that you call 920-882-5500 and listen to the recording to verify a dentist will be available to treat emergency patients.  We encourage you to check in frequently as to the availability of dental care appointments.

How is the clinic funded?

All of our dentists and hygienists are volunteers.  Other costs are funded by individual donors, grants, and by Medicaid payments.

We are a not-for-profit dental clinic.  The clinic is NOT a local, state, or government agency.

How can I get answers to my dental care questions or make an appointment?

Call us at 920-882-5500.  If we are helping other patients, please leave a brief message and we will return your call.  Please listen to the entire menu of options before making a choice.

What do I need to bring with me when I register?

To register for a dental health care appointment, individuals must bring a proof of residency (such as a driver's license, electric bill or water bill with current address) and proof of income (two recent paycheck stubs, W-2, or previous year's taxes.)
